Meet Michael Dart
Michael’s Role as a Customer Leader at Energy Queensland
Michael Dart is the Executive General Manager of Customers at Energy Queensland. Formed in 2016, Energy Queensland merged Ergon Energy and Energex to power communities across Queensland. They are finding ways to minimise the impact of electricity network costs on customers, and release funds for better services. Energy Queensland is committed to showing leadership in the energy sector by strengthening their service to customers and communities and to being the ‘citizen’s voice’.
Michael’s Other Work on Boards and in Art
Besides his career with Energy Queensland, Michael is a Member of Queensland State Disaster Coordination Group and has been since 2010. He is also the member of multiple other boards, including a Director on the Board Of Directors of Ergon Energy Retail, a Board Member of the Environment and Science Industry Advisory Board of Griffith University, a Trustee at CEDA – Committee for Economic Development of Australia, and on the Board Of Directors of Creative Regions.
However, Michael’s expertise extends beyond this. He is a freelance Arts Writer and Contributor at Crush Communications. Crush Magazine is a free quarterly publication, celebrating everything there is to love about the Bundaberg Region in Queensland, Australia. He also does marketing, voice overs, MC’ing, and social media work with regional bodies, businesses and charities as well as some acting.
